FAQ’s

What is your turn around time?
Consistent with the industry, our turn around time is about 4-6 weeks from when we receive your images.  We can not commit to express turn around times due to quality control.

What order are the images scanned and can I label my image folders?

First, we scan the images exactly in the order they are given to us.

If you would like to group particular images within a named digital folder, you should clearly label those groups of images before sending.  For example, you could label a group of images as “Christmas 2008”.  You can create an unlimited number of folders as long as you clearly label them before you send them to us.

Do you provide storage options for my slides/negatives/photographs?
For an additional charge, we will return your media in archival storage boxes/sleeves.

What steps do I need to take to prepare my slides?

Slide mounts that are severely warped or bent may not be suitable for scanning. If we encounter problems with your mounts, we will notify you and present you with a couple of different options depending on the severity of the problem. In rare cases, the slides must be mounted in new mounts.

What steps do I need to take to prepare my photographs?
If you would like to have your photos placed into folders on your disc, based upon instructions that you provide us, just put the photos for each folder into their own labeled Ziploc bag.

What is the Nikon Super Coolscan 5000 ED?
•  Optical resolution: 3000 dpi

•  New advanced image processing for color negative film

•  Multi-sample Scanning
