Rainy Day Memories converts your favorite pictures and home movies or videos into custom photo montages that can be set to music and viewed on your television or computer. Perhaps your having a birthday party and would like a slideshow to be shown. Many people choose this as a way to show pictures of the individual growing up. A DVD photomontage is also a great idea for funerals/viewings, reunions, graduations, anniversaries or other special events.

Photographs can fade and deteriorate over time. Rainy Day Memories can scan your pictures, or copy then from a CD, and create a custom DVD photo montage. Including a video clip from your home movies is a great added touch.

Rainy Day Memories uses real cinematic methods, including the Ken Burns effect to create slide shows that will fully engage the audience. The Ken Burns effect utlizes a method of panning and zooming on a picture to literally bring a still picture to life. 

Each package inlcudes panning, zooming, basic touch-ups, songs, and fade transitions, plus your video on both DVD-R and DVD+R to ensure player compatibility.

We will ask you to number your photos, if using actual photographs, in the order you prefer upon submission, or order them on a CD if digital, and we will put them together to create a journey down memory lane. It is preferable to send your high-quality digital images on a CD. If you have actual photographs, you may send those and have them scanned for an additional charge. Basic photo touch-ups (cropping, color adjustment, red-eye) are included in the package pricing. We will also help you select songs to highlight the emotions that you want to project in your photo montage. Please click here for song suggestions.

Once we have your photos, your music selection, and your opening and closing titles, we will begin putting the pieces together to create your video. This process can take up to 2 weeks, so please allow time for this. Regular shipping is through USPS Priority Mail and is $10 (this option includes insurance, no tracking).
